JAMMU, June 24 -- In a major push to strengthen India's fight against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah will chair the 10th Apex-Level Meeting of the Narco-Coordination Centre (NCORD) at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on June 26.

The high-level meeting, being organized by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), is expected to play a pivotal role in advancing the Centre's campaign to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of a drug-free India.

Senior representatives from 44 Central Ministries and Departments, along with 108 officials from State Governments and drug law enforcement agencies, will participate in the deliberations in both physical and virtual modes.
