JAMMU, Sept. 9 -- The Department of Environmental Sciences, Central University of Jammu (CUJ), under the patronage of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjeev Jain, observed Himalaya Diwas on September 9, 2026, at the University Auditorium. The programme, organised under the theme "Himalaya Hai Toh Hum Hain," aimed to raise awareness about the ecological significance of the Himalayan region and the urgent need for its conservation and sustainable management.
