Jammu, June 14 -- Facing a stern warning from the Congress high command and the prospect of disciplinary action, dissident leaders within the Jammu and Kashmir Congress have reportedly suspended all their planned political activities, including a series of rallies that were scheduled to be held across the Jammu region this month.

Sources in the party said the dissident group had drawn up plans to organise public meetings and rallies in different districts of Jammu in June to demonstrate its support base and political strength.
