Akhnoor, March 1 -- A meaningful community outreach under the nationwide flagship Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP)was organised today in Hamirpur (Pargwal) of Akhnoor sub-division. The programme was conducted under the able guidance of Ritika Trehan, Convenor, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Jammu & Kashmir, and led on ground by Anu Manhas, Convenor BBBP Akhnoor.
The awareness session brought together parents, adolescent girls, teachers, ASHAs and Anganwadi workers for an open conversation on girls' education, nutrition and dignity.
