Jammu, Oct. 8 -- After evicting them from outskirts of Jammu city, authorities are now going to start a comprehensive campaign to verify the identity, nationality and documentation of Rohingyas suspected of having entered the country illegally and subsequently obtained Aadhaar cards or other Indian identity documents through allegedly fraudulent means.

The verification drive is also expected to cover Rohingya women who have married local residents and subsequently become part of the local population, with authorities seeking to establish their identity, nationality and the circumstances under which they obtained Indian documents.
