Jammu, Feb. 22 -- The All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) has announced that elections for its leadership will be held in March, amidst allegations of unconstitutional amendments within the organization. The move comes after a caretaker president, appointed in 2019, failed to conduct elections as promised.

According to a press release, the ASKPC, founded in 1921, has been a prominent socio-political organization representing the Kashmiri Pandit community. The organization's last election was held in 2015, and the current caretaker president has been accused of sidelining senior office bearers and attempting to convert the organization into a trust.
