JAMMU, Aug. 19 -- Jammu West MLA Arvind Gupta's major initiative to strengthen emergency healthcare services has received administrative approval, paving the way for the procurement of three advanced ambulances at an estimated cost of Rs 61.47 lakh.
The ambulances will be procured from the funds allocated to Arvind Gupta under the Constituency Development Fund Scheme for the financial year 2026-27. One Force Traveller T1 Type-B BS-VI air-conditioned ambulance will be provided each to the State Cancer Institute Jammu, Super Speciality Hospital Jammu and Government Medical College Hospital Jammu. Each ambulance is estimated to cost Rs 20.49 lakh.
