JAMMU, Sept. 18 -- Paying tribute to the enduring legacy of Late Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, Jammu West MLA Arvind Gupta today initiated Rs 10 lakh CDF-funded project for the upgradation and renovation of the Bua Datti Community Hall in Ward No. 39, Patoli Mangotrian, Jammu.
The upgraded facility will be dedicated in the memory of Late Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta, a senior BJP leader and former Union Minister who had a longstanding association with Bua Datti and its affairs. Prof. Gupta remained closely associated with the management and activities of the temple and had been instrumental in matters related to the project, which had remained pending since 2011.
