Jammu, May 30 -- In a significant step to strengthen the anti-drug campaign in Jammu and Kashmir, authorities in Kishtwar district have made it mandatory for government employees to submit self-declaration certificates affirming that they are not drug addicts, with salary disbursement linked to compliance with the directive.
The decision was taken as part of efforts to expand the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and the 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Campaign, aimed at creating a drug-free society through awareness, prevention, rehabilitation, and strict enforcement measures.
