JAMMU, Feb. 20 -- Under the directions of Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Director, Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu, and Dr. Zahid Saleem, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Jammu, the Animal Husbandry Department Jammu today organized an awareness camp at village Chatta, Sunjwan, Jammu. The programme was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Zaffar Iqbal, Livestock Development Officer, Jammu.
The awareness camp witnessed active participation from a large number of farmers and livestock rearers of the area. The main objective of the camp was to educate the farmers about various beneficiary-oriented schemes and programmes being implemented by the department for the welfare and upliftment of the farming community.
