Anantnag, May 5 -- Continuing its intensified campaign against drug trafficking and the narcotics ecosystem, Anantnag Police has dealt a significant blow to the drug mafia by attaching immovable property worth approximately Rs.85 lakhs under the provisions of the NDPS Act.
Acting under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act, Police Station Srigufwara attached a single-storeyed residential house belonging to Imtiyaz Ahmad Ganie, son of Lassi Ganie, a resident of Shalgam, Srigufwara. The property has been identified as proceeds acquired through illicit drug trafficking.
