BHADERWAH, March 2 -- Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sunil Kumar Bhutyal today laid the foundation stone for the construction of an Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station at the premises of Divisional Forest Office Bhaderwah. The station is being established by the Divisional Office of the Jammu & Kashmir Pollution Control Committee under the National Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Programme (NAAQMP).

The monitoring station will analyze the concentration levels of key air pollutants including PM10, PM2.5, Nitrogen Dioxide (NO) and Sulphur Dioxide (SO) to assess the ambient air quality in Bhaderwah and its surrounding areas.
