JAMMU, July 2 -- The All India Backward Classes Federation (J&K Unit) today felicitated senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Dr. Rohit Gupta on his recent joining of the party and expressed confidence that he would actively raise the concerns of the Other Backward Classes (OBC) community at appropriate forums.
On the occasion, a delegation of the Federation led by its office bearers presented Dr. Gupta with a portrait of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar as a mark of respect and also submitted a detailed memorandum highlighting several long-pending issues affecting the OBC community in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
