JAMMU, March 14 -- The Department of Ophthalmology at AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu, observed World Glaucoma Week from 8th to 14th March, 2026. During this period, patients were screened for glaucoma using equipment like Non-Contact Tonometer, Applanation Tonometer, Automated Perimetry and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). Glaucoma awareness lectures were organized in the OPD area for patients and their attendants.
All the activities were conducted under the guidance and supervision of ED & CEO, AIIMS Jammu, Prof. (Dr.) D. N. Sharma.
