Jammu, Sept. 11 -- Months after the next of kin of terror victims were provided government jobs, the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) has now thrown open applications for MBBS seats reserved under the Central Pool - offering spouses and children of terrorism victims a shot at medical education for the 2026-27 academic session.

As per Notification No. 191-BOPEE of 2026, dated September 11, 2026, the Board has invited offline applications to fill four MBBS seats earmarked across the country: one at A.N. Magadh Medical College, Gaya (Bihar); one at Grant Medical College, Mumbai (Maharashtra); and two at the private J.N.M. Medical College, Raipur (Chhattisgarh).
