BARAMULLA, July 9 -- Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Baramulla, Pranjal J. Hazarika, today chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U) in the district.
The meeting reviewed the physical and financial progress achieved under the scheme, the status of beneficiary verification, the progress of PMAY 2.0, and the recovery of funds from beneficiaries who have failed to commence construction despite receiving the first installment under PMAY-U.
The ADDC directed the concerned officers to expedite the recovery process in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and ensure strict monitoring of such cases.
