JAMMU, June 16 -- Ahead of the annual Shri Amarnathji Yatra, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has temporarily deputed 63 officers from various departments to strengthen management and coordination arrangements for the pilgrimage. According to Government Order No. 1080-JK(GAD) of 2026 issued by the General Administration Department, the officers have been assigned duties as Camp Directors and Additional Camp Directors at various base and transit camps along the Yatra route The officers, drawn from the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service and other departments, have been directed to report to the office of the Chief Executive Officer, Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, on dates to be specified by the Board.
