JAMMU, May 30 -- Two-day course on "Ethics and Soft Skills" which commenced at SKPA on 29.05.2026, culminated today i.e. on 30.05.2026. A total of 23 officers of J&K Police participated in the training programme. The programme highlighted the importance of ethical conduct, effective communication, empathy and interpersonal skills in policing. As first responders in the criminal justice system, police personnel must attend to crime victims with patience, sensitivity and promptness. Participants were sensitized to treat victims and complainants with compassion and respect, recognizing their right to access justice and receive timely assistance.
