SRINAGAR, Aug. 25 -- The Armed Police Headquarters, J&K, has granted in-situ promotions to 184 Police personnel belonging to different ranks, in recognition of their dedicated service, commitment and professional contribution.
A Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC), constituted under the chairmanship of V.K. Birdi, IPS, IGP, Head of Armed Wing, considered eligible cases and approved the promotions. The committee comprised Maqsood-ul-Zaman, IPS, DIG Armed Kashmir; Mubbasher Hussain, SSP, CO 9th JKAP IR Battalion; Manzoor Ahmad, DySP (M), ADO ZAPHQ Kashmir; Mohd. Shakil, Accounts Officer, APHQ J&K; and Ab Rashid, Pay Clerk, APHQ J&K.
