India, May 21 -- The expansion of cloud technologies across Europe's public sector and highly regulated industries has frequently collided with concerns regarding extraterritorial data access. In a direct response to this structural barrier, Thales and Google Cloud have finalised a strategic partnership to develop a new European sovereign cloud offering in Germany.

The platform is designed to allow enterprise organisations to leverage hyperscale cloud innovations while guaranteeing complete operational, legal, and data confidentiality. Currently available in Preview, the architecture targets General Availability by the end of 2026.
