India, Oct. 29 -- Hitachi's new digital services company brings two parts of its business together. But the bigger story is what it plans to do with that combination: connect digital engineering, enterprise systems and industrial expertise to help clients put AI to work.

Announced as part of an integration plan first outlined in January 2026, Hitachi Digital brings GlobalLogic and Hitachi Digital Services under a single company using the Hitachi brand. The launch marks a move towards a more unified digital services model, spanning technology development and the systems that keep businesses running.
