India, March 11 -- Fortinet has announced FortiOS 8.0, the latest version of the operating system that powers the Fortinet Security Fabric. The release introduces new capabilities in AI-driven security, secure access service edge (SASE), and quantum-safe protection to address evolving enterprise infrastructure requirements.

The platform was unveiled during Fortinet Accelerate 2026 as part of the company's Secure Networking strategy. The update aims to help organizations manage security across hybrid infrastructures while simplifying operational complexity.
