India, Oct. 21 -- eScan has extended its Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution with Screen Watermarking, targeting a data theft risk that traditional security controls can overlook: photographs of confidential information displayed on a screen.

Employees and contractors routinely access sensitive information through office applications, financial systems, design tools and video meetings. While traditional DLP controls can restrict email attachments, USB transfers and cloud uploads, they cannot stop someone from photographing a screen with a smartphone.
