India, July 28 -- Databricks appoints Corrie Briscoe as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ), putting a seasoned partner ecosystem leader at the centre of its regional growth plans. Based in Singapore, Briscoe will lead the expansion of Databricks' partner network across cloud providers, systems integrators, ISVs and technology partners.

The appointment comes as organisations across APJ increase investment in agentic AI. But turning that investment into working enterprise deployments is not straightforward. The region faces fragmented data environments, a shortage of AI-ready talent and different governance needs across industries and regulatory markets.
