D4NP Report 2026 reveals India's nonprofit digital gap
India, Sept. 29 -- Indian nonprofits are moving quickly into Generative AI, but the wider digital picture is less mature. The D4NP report 2026, based on 500 nonprofits across 10 sectors and 20 digital maturity parameters, puts the average digital maturity score at just 4.4 out of 10.
At the same time, six in 10 nonprofits use GenAI daily and 85% use multiple GenAI tools. The contrast points to a key challenge: AI adoption is accelerating before many organisations have strengthened the digital foundations needed to turn that adoption into measurable value.
