India, Oct. 16 -- The ControlZ dealer network expansion signals a bigger push to make renewed smartphones a mainstream category in India's offline retail market. The company has crossed 1,000 dealers and plans to reach 3,000 authorised dealers by the end of the fiscal year.

The move comes as retailers and telecom distributors look to add renewed devices to their counters, giving customers another route to premium smartphones without the price of a new device.

The expansion comes against a changing smartphone market. According to the figures cited by ControlZ, refurbished smartphone volumes in India grew 13% year-on-year in H1 2026, while new smartphone volumes declined by around 11%.
