India, Oct. 26 -- Barracuda cybersecurity research points to a growing challenge for organisations: security threats are changing quickly, but teams are struggling to build the skills and capacity to keep up. In a survey of 2,000 IT and security decision-makers, 94% reported cybersecurity skills gaps. In India, 81% cited gaps linked to AI risks, while 80% reported gaps involving advanced identity and phishing threats.

The findings suggest that adding AI tools alone may not solve the problem. Organisations also need people who can understand threats, make sound decisions and manage risk as digital operations expand.
