India, Oct. 16 -- Akamai Cloud momentum is gaining pace as enterprises rethink how they run AI, compute-heavy applications and data-intensive workloads. Akamai says new customer adoption is being driven by demand for high-performance CPU compute, specialised GPU capacity and resilient storage.

The customer mix points to a broader shift in cloud requirements. Organisations are using Akamai Cloud for everything from AI model testing and low-latency inference to core-to-edge applications, streaming and disaster recovery.
