India, May 20 -- Zydus Lifesciences Ltd has announced that it, along with its subsidiaries, has completed the remaining investment in Torrent Urja 25 under the previously signed Share Subscription and Shareholders' Agreements (SSSAs).
The company stated that on May 19, 2026, it invested Rs 90.18 million towards subscription of 90,17,848 equity shares under Tranche 2, 3, and 4 of the transaction. The investment represents a 22.06 percent stake in the paid-up share capital of Torrent Urja 25.
Earlier, in June 2025, Zydus and its subsidiaries had invested an aggregate amount of Rs 38.65 million under Tranche 1 for subscription of 38,64,792 equity shares, also representing a 22.06 percent stake.
