India, Aug. 4 -- Zinc futures edged higher on Tuesday, supported by strong demand in the spot market and fresh buying by traders.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), August zinc contracts rose Rs 2, or 0.52%, to Rs 388 per kg, with a business turnover of 164 lots.
Market participants attributed the uptick in zinc prices to higher spot demand, which supported sentiment in the futures market.
