India, Aug. 19 -- Zinc futures prices declined by Rs 1.80, or 0.45 per cent, to Rs 395.75 per kg on Wednesday, pressured by weak demand in the spot market and reduced positions by speculators.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for August delivery traded at Rs 395.75 per kg, with a business turnover of 356 lots.
Analysts said subdued demand from consuming industries in the physical market prompted participants to trim their positions, weighing on zinc futures prices.
