India, July 13 -- Zinc futures declined on Monday, with the July contract on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) falling Rs 1.50, or 0.4 percent, to Rs 374.85 per kg.
The decline was attributed to profit booking and reduced positions by market participants amid weak demand from consuming industries in the physical market. Analysts said subdued spot market sentiment continued to weigh on zinc prices in futures trade.
