India, April 24 -- Zinc prices declined on Friday, slipping 15 paise to Rs 345 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure amid negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), zinc contracts for May delivery fell by 15 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 345 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 110 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to position trimming by market participants, driven by subdued demand from consuming industries in the physical market.
