India, June 24 -- Zinc prices slipped in futures trade on Wednesday, with the July contract falling Rs 2.10, or 0.58%, to Rs 358.40 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX).

The contract recorded a business turnover of 611 lots during the session.

According to market analysts, the decline was driven by profit-booking and reduced positions by traders, amid weaker demand from consuming industries in the physical market, which weighed on zinc prices.
