India, June 23 -- Zinc futures traded lower on Tuesday as investors reduced their positions amid weak demand trends in the physical market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, June zinc contracts fell by Rs 4.30, or 1.30%, to Rs 365.75 per kg, with a turnover of 800 lots.
Market analysts attributed the decline to subdued demand from consuming industries, which prompted traders to trim their exposure and exerted pressure on zinc prices.
