India, Oct. 23 -- Welspun Corp Limited announced that its US subsidiary, Welspun Tubular LLC, has secured an order worth approximately Rs 5,500 crore from a major midstream company to supply coated line pipes for a Permian natural gas pipeline project.
The pipeline will serve a data centre complex operated by a leading global hyperscaler. The order highlights the growing demand for energy transmission infrastructure driven by the expansion of AI-led data centres.
The order will be executed from Welspun's US facility during FY29. Following the win, the company's global order book has reached an all-time high of approximately USD 5.25 billion, equivalent to around Rs 50,000 crore.
