India, July 6 -- Vikram Solar has commissioned its new solar module manufacturing facility at Gangaikondan, Tamil Nadu, with the successful rollout of the plant's first solar module. The new greenfield facility marks a key milestone in the company's expansion strategy and strengthens its commitment to boosting India's domestic solar manufacturing capabilities.

Spread across 6 lakh sq. ft., the highly automated plant is expected to create employment for over 1,500 skilled professionals. Equipped with advanced automation, real-time production monitoring, automated quality inspection, and end-to-end module traceability, the facility is designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and reliability.
