India, June 1 -- VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between Eicher Motors and the Volvo Group, reported a 7.8 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales for May 2026.
The company sold 7,978 units during the month, compared with 7,401 units in May 2025. Growth was primarily driven by strong performance in the domestic market.
Domestic sales rose 9.1 per cent to 7,375 units in May 2026, up from 6,758 units in the corresponding month last year. The steady increase in sales highlights continued demand across VECV's commercial vehicle portfolio and reinforces its position in the medium and heavy commercial vehicle segment.
