India, March 20 -- VA Tech WABAG has secured a 'large' consortium order from United Water Supply Company of Georgia (UWSCG) for the construction of a 19 MLD wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) in Kutaisi, Georgia. The project is funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The scope includes engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a new advanced treatment facility, along with demolition of the existing plant and installation of an effluent pipeline. WABAG, as the consortium leader, will handle design, engineering, installation, commissioning, and oversee operations & maintenance for 12 months.
