India, Sept. 9 -- The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched its Aadhaar Face Authentication SDK and Sandbox at the Global Fintech Fest 2026, enabling banks, fintechs and other organisations to integrate and test face-based Aadhaar authentication directly within their mobile applications.
The SDK is available for Android and iOS and incorporates AI/ML-based liveness detection and anti-spoofing features, allowing users to complete authentication without switching to a separate application.
The Sandbox provides a controlled environment for developers to test the complete authentication process, including consent, face capture, liveness checks, error handling and response validation, before moving to production.
