India, Oct. 21 -- Transrail Lighting Limited has secured new orders worth Rs 927 crore, primarily in its domestic Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business, taking its order intake for the year to Rs 3,356 crore.
The new orders include EPC projects for 765 kV and 400 kV transmission lines in India, along with conductor supply orders for the US market. The company has secured orders worth over Rs 2,300 crore in the past three weeks.
Randeep Narang, MD and CEO of Transrail, said strong order inflows reflect the company's growing scale and competitiveness in the power T&D sector. He added that its in-house tower and conductor manufacturing capabilities, along with domestic and international demand, will support sustainable growth.
