India, Aug. 27 -- Tata Power Renewable Energy has commissioned a 72.5 MW ground-mounted solar project in Bikaner, Rajasthan, with the generated power to be supplied to Tata Steel through its subsidiary TP Vardhman Surya.
The project is expected to generate around 166 million units (MUs) of green energy annually and help offset approximately 1,18,856 tonnes of carbon emissions every year.
The project comprises 1,71,360 solar modules, which have been manufactured by TP Solar Limited, further supporting the Tata Group's renewable energy and clean power initiatives.
