India, June 18 -- Sportking India Ltd has announced the commencement of commercial operations of its solar power project on June 18, 2026, marking a key step in its renewable energy and sustainability initiatives.
The project has been developed under a Solar Power Purchase Agreement (SPPA) with Evincea Renewable Seven Private Limited and will supply solar power to the company's manufacturing facilities in Punjab.
According to the company, the solar project is expected to deliver significant long-term benefits, including a reduction in overall power costs by approximately 12–13% annually. The initiative is also expected to improve operational efficiency and strengthen cost competitiveness.
