India, March 18 -- Silver prices declined by Rs 213 to Rs 2.52 lakh per kilogram in futures trade on Wednesday, tracking subdued global trends and cautious investor sentiment ahead of key monetary policy decisions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for May delivery fell by Rs 213, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 2,52,900 per kg, with a business turnover of 5,857 lots.
Analysts said prices remained under pressure as traders avoided fresh positions ahead of the US Federal Reserve's policy outcome later in the day.
