India, Sept. 18 -- Silver prices climbed 1.25% to Rs 2,41,183 per kg in futures trade on Friday, supported by a firm global trend.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver futures for December delivery rose Rs 2,978, or 1.25%, to Rs 2,41,183 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,082 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise to fresh positions built by market participants.
