India, Sept. 30 -- Silver futures prices rose 0.55% to Rs 2,26,700 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Wednesday, supported by fresh positions taken by market participants.
The December silver contract gained Rs 1,250 during the session, with trading activity involving 1,034 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in silver prices primarily to fresh position building by participants.
