India, July 28 -- Silver futures declined by Rs. 3,576 to Rs. 2,17,597 per kilogram on Tuesday as traders reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September delivery contracts fell 1.62% to Rs. 2,17,597 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,716 lots.
According to analysts, profit booking and fresh selling pressure by market participants weighed on silver prices.
