India, Sept. 28 -- Silver prices declined Rs 6,477, or 2.76%, to Rs 2,28,219 per kg in futures trade on Monday, as market participants reduced their positions.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery traded at Rs 2,28,219 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,501 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to selling by market participants, which weighed on silver prices.
