India, Oct. 6 -- Silver futures prices declined on Tuesday as market participants reduced their positions, weighing on the precious metal.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), silver contracts for December delivery fell Rs 466, or 0.21%, to Rs 2,25,621 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,938 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to selling pressure from market participants.
