India, July 30 -- Silver futures traded lower on Thursday as subdued domestic demand and weak global market trends weighed on prices.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), September silver futures declined by Rs. 271, or 0.12%, to Rs. 2,17,208 per kg, with a business turnover of 12,973 lots.
According to traders, muted demand in the domestic market, along with softer overseas cues, kept pressure on silver prices.
